Who Are Joey and Paula Reed? Trevor Reed Parents


Joey Reed And Paula reed are now recognized as the parents of Trevor Reed, a marine veteran imprisoned by Russia.

Joey and Paula  that they were initially alerted of their son's release by the State Department after he spent nearly three years in prison.

Trevor sounded "subdued," "overwhelmed," and "in shock," according to Reed's parents, who spoke with him shortly after his release.

Joey Reed claims that his kid told them that he was flown from Moscow to Turkey for the swap.

Reed and his family have refuted the charges against Reed. After being accused of assaulting a Russian police officer, Reed was sentenced to nine years in jail in July 2020.

Trevor Reed Was Born In Joey and Paula Reed's Family

Joey and Paula Reed and the rest of the Reed family expressed their gratitude to all of the U.S. authorities for their assistance in reuniting Trevor with his family.

Reed's parents received a call from Vice President Joe Biden, whom they had met last month in Washington, D.C., while on the phone with him.

Biden  that Trevor's safe return demonstrates my administration's commitment to returning home Americans who have been kidnapped or wrongfully incarcerated abroad.

When Joey and Paula learned that their son had been launched, they reacted quickly. The Reeds were also allowed to speak with Vice President Joe Biden.

According to a CNN article, Trevor didn't sound like he did before being detained by his father and mother in his first phone call after being released.

Where Are Joey and Paula Reed Originally From?

Joey and Paula Reed are initially from America, and both are American citizens.

They even got the opportunity to speak with the President of the United States about the return of their son from the Russians. Biden is a responsible president.

According to U.S. officials, both Reed and Paul Whelan, a former Marine still imprisoned in Russia, were serving time for fabricated charges.

Brittney Griner, a WNBA player and Houston native was detained in a Moscow airport in February and is still being jailed in Russia.
