Who Is Arian Taherzadeh From DC? Secret Service Agent Arrested


Arian Taherzadeh is a forty-year-old man from D.C. who the FBI arrested in Southeast Washington on a criminal complaint. 

The FBI soon found out that Arian, alongside Haider, was interviewed just weeks ago by a Postal Service inspector as potential witnesses to an unrelated assault in the same building where they live.

Additionally, Arian allegedly shared photos of himself in tactical gear with witnesses to prove his claim that he worked for DHS.

The FBI was spotted at a Nacy Yard apartment building called the Crossing on First Street in Southeast carrying boxes. As per the reports, the boxes were related to the arrests of the two men.

Arian Taherzadeh From DC Charges And Mugshot

Arian Taherzadeh from D.C. has been charged with False Impersonation of an Officer of the United States. Arian and the other man Haider were arrested following a raid of a Southeast building Wednesday afternoon.

Over several years, Arian has been impersonating federal agents. According to the FBI, Arian has been pretending to be various officers and employees of the U.S. government.

Since February 2020, Arian has been pretending to be officers and employees of the U.S. government, including federal law enforcement agencies members.

Arian Taherzadeh Name Origin Revealed

Arian Taherzadeh is an Iranian-sounding name, however, the actual identification of the men is yet to get disclosed. The second individual, Haider, could be of a different Middle Eastern or Southwest Asian origin.

The forty-year-old man Arian is accused of providing Secret Service agents and officers with rent-free apartments, including a penthouse worth over $40k a year.

According to court documents, Arian further provided iPhones, a drone, flat-screen television, a gun case, surveillance systems, and other policing tools to the agents.

Moreover, Arian offered them to use a black GMC SUV that he identified as an official government vehicle as per the prosecutors.

Arian even offered to buy a $2,000 assault gun for a Secret Service agent assigned to defend the first lady in one incident.

Is Arian Taherzadeh Locked Up In Jail?

Arian Taherzadeh was arrested and locked up in jail for pretending to be a Department of Homeland Security member. The two men arrested were exposed on March 14, when the U.S. Postal Inspector interviewed them.

Both men told the authorities that they were members of a DHS police force and were involved in undercover gang-related probes. It was further investigating last year's riot at the U.S. Capitol.

The alleged fake officer had also set up surveillance in the building and told other residents that they could access their cellphones and personal information as per the investigators.

When dozen FBI agents raided the luxury building in Southeast DC, Arian and Haider were arrested Wednesday evening.
