Dr. Phil Elke And Steven Baby Lucas Update -What Happened, Who Killed Him?

The story of the death of the baby Lucas is featured in two parts on the chat show Dr. Phil. Steven and his fiancée Elke brought baby Lucas into their lives in 2020.

Elke and Steven noticed Lucas wasn't looking well one evening when he was three months old, so Elke took him to the hospital the next morning. Lucas passed away a few days later.

Steven's mother, Melissa, says Lucas was in a medically induced coma for three days. Doctors informed Steven that Lucas' brain activity had ceased and that he needed to be taken off life support.

Lucas, Steven and Elke's 3-month-old baby, died in the year 2020. The death of the infant was considered a homicide by the coroner who determined that the death was caused by a subdural hematoma, which is consistent with the shaken baby syndrome.

"Someone had to have shaken Lucas because those injuries couldn't have happened any other way," argues Steven, who is currently under investigation for the baby's murder.

Steven adamantly denies injuring Lucas and expresses his grief at his son's death. Elke does not believe his husband will do something that cruel to his son. 

Baby Lucas does not have a Wikipedia page. Lucas was born in 2020. He was never unhappy, slept well, enjoyed bathing, and only screamed during diaper changes, according to Steven and Elke.

On Mother's Day morning, Elke drove Lucas to a relative's residence. There was a small group of people there, including youngsters, and Lucas was not always visible to Elke.

Elke never awoke Steven to tell him that Lucas's condition had worsened when she awakened in the morning to take him to the hospital. Steven died in the hospital while holding the infant.
