Buena Park Edgar Alfonso Lamas And Carlos Raygoza Paredes Arrested -Drug Smuggling Case

Edgar Alfonso Lamas and Carlos Raygoza Paredes got arrested with hundreds of pounds of drugs, which has reportedly proceeded in the huge bust in the last sixteen years in Orange County.

So far now, the authorities have not released the mugshots of the convicted men as well as their images have not been uncovered publicly. Reportedly, they are believed to be residents of Buena Park, Orange County.

The district attorney's office encountered the two men with several charges, including three felony charges of transportation or sale of a controlled substance, and two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Police detained and charged Edgar Alfonso Lamas and Carlos Raygoza Paredes with six drug-related counts with enhancement. Both men have pleaded not guilty.

Buena Park Edgar Alfonso Lamas And Carlos Raygoza Paredes Charges For Drug Smuggling Case

According to authorities, Edgar Alfonso Lamas and Carlos Raygoza Paredes were  charged with felony enhancements that the controlled substances weight over 400 liters Or 80 and 20 kilograms by weight.

Edgar Alfonso Lamas and Carlos Raygoza Paredes face three felony charges of transportation for the purpose of sale, two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance for the  purpose of sale, and one felony offense of possession of a controlled drug for the purpose of trade.

Carlos Raygoza and Edgar Alfonso Lamas risk a maximum term of 37 years and four months in prison if convicted on all charges. The preliminary hearing for the two men is scheduled for 7th June in Fullerton, California, as per court records.

Where Are Buena Park Edgar Alfonso Lamas And Carlos Raygoza Paredes Now?

Edgar Alfonso Lamas and Carlos Raygoza Paredes are now held in custody after they were encountered with enough fentanyl to murder 4.7 million people.

As of now, the convicted men remain in prison with a pending charge worth $5million in bail. On 17 March, the authorities pulled over the minivan leaving a Buena Park home, as per police reports.

Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer stated, "With fentanyl with over 40 percent of street drugs, it's not a matter of if but when someone you know, and love dies from fentanyl. We have to do everything we can to combat this fatal drug epidemic and save lives."
