Why Kenedi Anderson Leaving American Idol 2022? The Real Story Behind 'The Dropout'

Well, it has been confirmed that Kenedi Anderson has left American Idol 2022 where she made her up Top 24 of this show. According to the team of American Idol, it comes to know that the reason for leaving the show was her personal reason.

In addition, Fremantle Media issued the following statement, "We are disappointed to see Kenedi leave, but we are excited to watch this celebratory 20th season unfold with the incredible talent vying to be the next American Idol."

For her audition, Kenedi had wowed all the judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan with her performance of Lady Gaga's "Applause."

Luke said she "might be the biggest star we've ever seen," and Katy added her one of only three Platinum Tickets given out during the audition process this season.

As a result of this ticket, Kenedi didn't have to perform on the first night of Hollywood Week but returned to the competition for Duets.

According to the sources, it comes to known that American Idol 2022 contestant Kenedi Anderson withdrew from the show for "personal reasons."

Rumors began circulating last week that Anderson had dropped out of the competition, according to several blogs and news sites as well.

The rumor is she withdrew from the competition after competing in the Top 24, which has proved to be true. "For personal reason, I'm unable to continue on "American Idol," Anderson posted on her Instagram account.

American Idol 2022 contestant Kenedi Anderson lives in Crozet now, Kenedi didn't grow up there. Her family consists of six and she is the second oldest moved around a lot because of her father's job in the football industry.

However, she hasn't revealed her parents' identities despite being active on social media platforms we have since learned that her father is Justin Anderson, a professional college football coach, and former player.
