Victoria and Eckhardt recently settled a lawsuit brought by a Lincoln Square couple over the popular HGTV show's restoration of their property.

James and Anna Morrissey filed the lawsuit in December 2019, alleging issues with the roof, windows, external masonry, and hallway bathroom of a home they bought featured on the show's first season.

An attorney for the Morrisseys, Robert McLaughlin, refused to comment on the settlement, alleging that the parties had also agreed to keep the terms confidential. He and the attorneys for Victoria and Eckhardt praised the settlement.
