According to Politico Playbook, Nina will also serve as executive director of the Department of Homeland Security's Disinformation Governance Board. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas did not identify any powers that would be given to her when addressing legislators.

He stated that the board would work to counteract disinformation in the run-up to the November midterm elections, particularly in Hispanic areas.

She had also contributed to The Washington Post and The New York Times and is the author of two books: Lose the Information War and How to Be a Woman Online.

Nina Jankowicz Parents Ethnicity 

Nina Jankowicz hasn't given out any information about her parent's ethnicity as she has maintained to keep her stuff to herself. From September 2019 until May 2021, she worked as a full-time Disinformation Fellow at The Wilson Center. She is currently working as a Global Fellow.

Jankowicz's academic achievements include a master's degree in Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies from Georgetown University. Similarly, she graduated from Bryn Mawr College with a B.A. in Political Science.
