Peggy Ann Jordan, Leslie Jordan's mother, has always been on his Instagram, and people have grown to admire and respect her for the love and support she has shown him.

Jordan stated his mother was loving and tolerant despite never completely knowing him during an interview on Today. On the other hand, Jordan's father, Allen B. Jordan, was a major in the United States Army Reserve.

He died in a private Beechcraft Debonair aircraft crash at Camp Shelby, Mississippi, on March 31, 1967, when Jordan was eleven years old, along with two others.

In an interview with People, Jordan stated that he is most proud of the house he was able to purchase for her out of all of his achievements.

"It appears Laura Ashley puked in there." Jordan intends to relocate near her at some time in the future, to return home and pursue his first love: horses. "I want to start a pony farm. I've planned everything out. That'll make for an interesting narrative."

Jordan worked with horses after high school and contemplated becoming a jockey. He went west after studying drama at the University of Tennessee.

"Always know that if it doesn't work out, you can return back to a standing ovation," he recalls his mom telling him as he boarded the bus to Hollywood in 1982.

Despite this, he still misses his dad and mentioned that he would be extremely proud of him. "He is the source of my sense of humor "Jordan explains. 

"He was the funniest person on the planet." The similarities don't end there. "When I'm in Tennessee, I occasionally catch mum staring at me. 'You look like your father,' she'll say." Jordan's voice cracks as tears well up in his eyes.

Leslie Jordan's mom, Peggy Ann Jordan has died, as he announced the news on his Instagram. People are sharing the obituary news on social media, and some are still startled by the news.

His mother was beyond 85, and we might say she may have died of old age without any complications or major illness. However, the reason behind this isn't revealed.

Announcing the news, Leslie wrote, "Mama is no longer with us, but she will live on in our memories and stories. Mama, I will always love you. Light. Love. Leslie is yours."

Peggy Ann Jordan was almost 86 at the time of her death. She is the mother of Leslie and her twin daughters, Jana and Janet. 

The whole family is mourning her death including the ones who knew such a humble soul. Jordan has always been particularly fond of his siblings' sisters since they are the ones he adores the most among the family.

He continues to share photos of his sisters on social media and informs us about them.

But, thus far, he has only provided a few details about his sisters in the form of photographs and stories. For the time being, Jane and Janet are the well-known actresses' secret personas, and we'll have to wait for some interviews to surface in order to learn more about the sisters.
