Todd And Clayton Peterson: Where Are They Now?
Clayton Peterson is Michael Peterson's oldest son from his first marriage to Patricia Sue, while Todd Peterson is his younger son.
According to Metro.US, Clayton was sentenced to four years in jail for a failed attempt to firebomb the Duke University Administration Building.
During his father's trial, he stood by his father and extended his jail term. His first son Dorian sees Michael in jail as a baby, as seen in the Netflix documentary The Staircase, and his wife Becky is seen pregnant with their second kid, Lucien, after the program.
According to The News & Observer, Clayton resides in Maryland with his two children. Dane DeHaan, well known for his portrayal as Harry Osborn/Green Goblin in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, plays Clayton Peterson.
Like his elder brother Clayton, Todd stood at his father's side during the trial and today. As shown in HBO Max's The Staircase, Todd was the first person to see his father after Kathleen's body was discovered.
Todd allegedly informed police investigators that Kathleen Peterson's murder was caused by alcohol, according to Diane Fanning's book Written in Blood: A True Story of Murder and a Deadly 16-Year-Old Secret That Tore a Family Apart.
He is thought to be residing in Tennessee now. Patrick Schwarzenegger, who starred in Midnight Sun, plays Todd Peterson in HBO Max's The Staircase.

Michael Peterson Children
Michael Peterson married Patricia Sue, an elementary school teacher at the Rhein-Main Air Base in Gräfenhausen, Germany. Clayton and Todd were Michael and Patricia's two children.
Michael and his first wife, Patricia, spent some time in Germany. They made friends with Elizabeth and George Ratliff and their two children, Margaret and Martha.
Following George's death, the Peterson and Ratliff families grew close. Michael became the guardian of Elizabeth Ratliff's two children after her death in 1985.
Clayton and his younger brother Todd moved in with their mother when Michael and Patricia separated in 1985. Margaret and Martha stayed with Michael, who later relocated to Durham, North Carolina.
Todd and Clayton soon joined their father in Durham, North Carolina, where they spent the rest of their childhood and adolescence.

Michael Peterson Trial
On December 9, 2001, Michael Peterson phoned 911 to say that he had just discovered Kathleen Peterson unconscious in their Forest Hills neighborhood house in Durham, North Carolina, and feared she had fallen down "fifteen, twenty, I don't know" steps.
Michael subsequently stated that he was outside by the pool and returned at 2:40 a.m. to discover her at the bottom of the steps. According to Michael, Kathleen must have fallen down the steps after taking booze and Valium.
On October 10, 2003, following one of the state's longest trials, a Durham County jury convicted Michael guilty of Kathleen's murder, and he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of release.
