Early this morning, the sad news came across that suggests Harshal Patel's sister Archita Patel died on Saturday, 9th April 2022.

As per sources, when the match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore was going on yesterday, the Sister of Harshal Patel's passed away.

Archana Patel was the youngest sibling of Harshal Patel and they were very close to each other. The cricketer left for his home as soon as he was informed about the unfortunate news of his sister's demise.

Until now, it is not confirmed whether the player flew directly to Ahmedabad from Pune or travel to Mumbai first and caught a flight to head to Ahmedabad from there.

Harshal Patel's family is yet to release an obituary explaining the death cause of his youngest sister Archana Patel. Fans are now mourning on the huge loss of his family member on Twitter.

Abhishek Tripathi from Dainika Jagram confirmed the unexcepted news of Archana Patel's demise on Sunday morning. The official sources haven't uncovered the cause of her death so far now. Meanwhile, it is being reported that she was ill.

Harshal Patel may have to stay out of the bio-bubble for three days following the systems of the Quarantine. He will be joining the team back after a day, as per reports.

Harshal Patel's family is currently grieving the loss of their dearest daughter, Archana Patel, who died on the 9th of April 2022, Saturday.

The 31-year-old Harshal Patel's family belongs from Sanand, Gujarat, India. He grew up with his brother Tapan Patel and his youngest sister Archana Patel of a Gujarati family background.

The Patel family had earlier planned to move to the United States. Later, when his brother found his passion in cricket, they stayed in India for the sake of his career.
