As per this Labello Challenge, one participant must close their eyes in the first task, while another applies a scented balm to their lips, then kisses and guesses the aroma.

Laurenandlara, a celebrated TikToker, created a dance video following this trend with her twin sister, and the video has gained over 20.3K likes so far.

This first version of the challenge was lighthearted, with no harmful elements, but some TikTok users presented the challenge by harming themselves first and then applying the balm to their wound.

The situation worsened when the challenge was turned into a game in which participants must apply lip balm every day until it ran out, at which point they must commit suicide.

The Labello Challenge has become popular among youngsters as they might find this trend more fun and interesting. 

The Labello Challenge may have relevance for the young who suffers from serious depression, which is widespread during adolescence.
