Jermain Defoe wife Donna Tierney is a beauty therapist and model by profession. They were engaged not so long back. 

However, the couple has not decided to announce the wedding day and venue. 

The Scots businesswoman and fitness fanatic also shared a photo of herself looking out onto the pitch at Ibrox during the team's friendly against Brighton last year.

"I've got my eyes on you," Tierney said in the post with a love heart.

Defoe, who has over 538,000 followers on Instagram, gushed about Donna after sharing a photo of her blowing up balloons.

"Mrs. D," he captioned it, adding flame emojis. Donna was pleased with his effort. 

Defoe has lived a series of miseries and death in his family.

His 26-year-old half-brother died of brain injuries during an incident in Leytonstone, London, on April 24, 2009.

His father, Jimmy Defoe, died on June 7, 2012, following a long fight with throat cancer.

Defoe was with the England squad ahead of UEFA Euro 2012.
