Yes, Jeff Stelling has already announced to the public that he is leaving Sky network after working all these years.

After 30 years at Sky, Stelling announced his retirement in October of last year. He has agreed to carry on as host of Soccer Saturday for at least the 2022/23 season after conversations with Sky Sports.

After his decision to remain as presenter of Soccer Saturday, he is happy to be remaining and is looking forward to bringing the show ahead and delivering more exceptional Saturday afternoons on Sky Sports.

"Football fans everywhere will be happy that Jeff will continue to present Soccer Saturday," stated Jonathan Licht, Managing Director of Sky Sports.

What Happened To Jeff Stelling?

Following his decision to leave Sky, Jeff Stelling has decided to stay on as Soccer Saturday's host for at least another season.

In October, Stelling, 67, stated that he would step down at the end of the 2021-22 season. "Sky Sports is my home, and the Soccer Saturday team is a significant part of my life," Stelling stated on Monday.

As the season came to a close and he was getting ready to say his goodbyes, he realized he wasn't ready to blow the last whistle and quit the best job in the world.

Stelling declared his desire to leave Soccer Saturday at the end of the 2021–22 season on October 30, 2021. However, Sky Sports confirmed on March 28, 2022, that Stelling will be staying through the end of the 2022–23 season.

Is Jeff Stelling Sick Or Ill?

Jeff Stelling previously suffered from Covid, but he is now free of the disease. After recovering from his sickness, he went back to work right away.

In March of this year, he was instrumental in inspiring Chris Kamara to keep going when Chris revealed that he suffers from apraxia of speech.

Nonetheless, there appears to be an internet rumor that Jeff is suffering from specific ailments. The good news for his followers and supporters is that he is healthy and can be seen on TV in his Sky Sports appearances.
