Raymond Liddy was a former deputy attorney general and the son of G. Gordon Liddy.

Since January 1986, Liddy has been a member of the United States Marine Corps Reserves. He retired in September 2016 after more than 30 years of service.

He became the Deputy Attorney General for the California Department of Justice in 2008, and he defends the state in issues involving the Medicaid program.

Liddy graduated from Mercersburg Academy in 1982 with a high school diploma and a bachelor's degree from Fordham University in 1986.

He then went on to Fordham University School of Legal to get his law degree, earning his Juris Doctorate in 1993.
