G Gordon Liddy was married to Frances Purcell on November 9, 1957. Frances Purcell Liddy died on February 5, 2010.

However, there is no information about the cause of her death. She was survived by her husband and children. 

Frances was born on December 2, 1932, in Poughkeepsie, New York. 

She earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the College of New Rochelle and a master's degree in education from the State University of New York.

She then spent 18 years working as an economic analyst and a public school teacher in Poughkeepsie's Savings Bank.

G Gordon Liddy married Frances Liddy in November 1957 at St. Mary's Church.

The couple was blessed with five children Raymond Joseph Liddy, James Gordon Liddy, Alexandra Bourne Liddy, Tom Liddy, and Grace Liddy.

Until they relocated to Washington, D.C. in 1971, Liddy took his wife and children to the Dutchess County Fair every year.

G. Gordon Liddy was not a household figure at the time, but he was associated with a political scandal against which all later scandals were measured.

He was a political aspirant who worked as an assistant district attorney in Dutchess County.

G Gordon Liddy Dies At The Age Of 90

G Gordon Liddy, one of the masterminds of the Watergate burglary, died at the age of 90. After his release from prison, he became a radio program host.


Liddy died at his daughter's home in Mount Vernon, Virginia, according to his family.

Thomas Liddy, his son, confirmed his father's death, saying only that it was not due to Covid-19 and that he had been suffering from Parkinson's disease.

Liddy was one of the organizers of the 1972 break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters in the office building that would become indelibly associated with one of America's largest political scandals. 

Nixon resigned in 1974 after five of Liddy's agents were caught inside the DNC offices on June 17, 1972.
