On February 2, 1942, William Hopkins was born in Greenville, South Carolina.

He eventually changed his name to "Bo" after the character he performed in his first off-Broadway production, "Bus Stop."

His mother and grandmother raised Hopkins after his father died when he was nine years old.

He eventually discovered he was adopted and went on to meet his biological mother at the age of 12, who lived in Lockhart, South Carolina.

At the age of 16, he had served in the United States Army.

He chose to pursue a career in acting after serving in the military, and he received experience in summer stock performances and guest appearances in various TV programs.

Bo Hopkins married his wife Sian Eleanor Green in 1989 and lived with her until his death.

Bo and Norma were together for only three years, from 1959 to 1962.

How did Bo Hopkins Die?  

On May 28, 2022, Bo Hopkins took his last breath at the Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys following a heart attack. 

Bo had no previous record of any illness or ailments. Since he died at the age of 80, it can be said that his old age and body failed him.
