Adelaide Teenager Zarif Rahman Killed In A Horror Car Crash
Zarif Rahman and his friend Thumith Chandrasena were involved in a car accident in the evenings. Both have died sustaining serious injuries.
The Police have confirmed the teenagers have suffered a double crash at Athelstone. They were only minutes away from their home arriving from a tutoring session when the tragedy struck
As per the news, the vehicle they were driving had smashed into the trees. The impact was so severe that the grey Sedan numbered S982 BTT was merely recognizable. Zarif was driving the vehicles according to the reports
Emergency crews had arrived at the scene, but despite their best effort, they were unable to save the teenagers.
After the horrifying crash, the girlfriend of one of the boys has a floral tribute at the site. The local residents have also paid their heartfelt sympathies to the teenager's parents.
Meanwhile, the Detectives are currently looking into whether speed played a role in the accident.
Who Was Zarif Rahman Killed In Athelstone Crash?
Rahman was the loving son of Dr. Towfiqur Rahman and Dr. Nasim Sultana. He and his family are members of the South Australian Bangladeshi Community.
Both the boys were dreaming of becoming aspiring doctors. Their teacher Dr Mohamad Wazid has described them as very passionate and gentle.
According to the news, Rahman and Chandrasena were preparing for medical school. They were studying in year 12 at the Heights School in the Modbury Heights area in Adelaide. Before the tragedy struck, the boys were arriving home after attending their coaching centers. They were most likely to take their exam in the coming July. Their residences in Athelstone and Rostrover were only a few minutes distant.
