Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow, was banned from Twitter on Sunday, only hours after returning to the platform. However, he was not arrested.

Lindell, a Trump supporter, was banned from Twitter in January 2021 for distributing false information about the 2020 presidential election. He announced his reappearance on a fresh account on Sunday afternoon.

A video of Lindell proving the account was his, was also included in the message. The account got suspended three and a half hours later.

The account was permanently terminated, according to a Twitter spokeswoman, for violating the platform's ban evasion guidelines. Anyone attempting to evade a previous ban, including by creating a new account, violates Twitter's ban evasion policy.
