MSNBC: Why Is Jen Psaki Leaving The White House?
Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, is planning to quit her post for an on-air gig at MSNBC, according to multiple sources, including the Hill and Axios.
Since 2009, Psaki has worked for the White House. Under then-President Barack Obama, she began her career as the White House Deputy Press Secretary.
Psaki is scheduled to leave the White House in May, according to sources.
On Peacock, NBCUniversal's streaming channel, she will host a show.
According to Axios, Psaki has not yet signed a contract and the transfer has not been publicly disclosed.
According to Axios, Ms Psaki has been in constant contact with the White House counsel's office about her departure owing to ethical and legal restrictions on how public officials can work in the private sector while still in office.
Ms Psaki intends to leave in May, although no contracts have been signed yet.

Where Is Jen Psaki Going?
According to two sources familiar with the negotiations, Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, is in advanced talks with MSNBC to join the network once she exits the Biden administration.
One of the sources said Ms Psaki might depart the White House as soon as next month.

While the specifics of her employment are still being worked out, the talks have centred on a deal in which she might host shows for both MSNBC and Peacock, MSNBC's parent company's streaming platform.
According to the sources, Ms Psaki might appear on other MSNBC programmes as well as NBC News on a regular basis.

Jen Psaki Husband & Married Life Explored
Talking about Jen Psaki's husband, she and Mecher have been married for 11 years and have two children, whom they are raising in the Washington suburbs. Mecher, 45, is a Democratic political aide who was born in September 1976.
Mecher was raised in Ohio and attended Elder High School, an all-boys Catholic prep school in Cincinnati, before entering politics.

Likewise, Mecher earned a bachelor's degree in communications and television production from Northern Kentucky University in 1999.
