Christian Braun was born to his parents, Lisa Sandbothe and Donny Braun. His parents raised him in the suburb of Burlington, Kansas, United States, alongside his two siblings.
The young athlete comes from a family of sports. Donny's father was a former walk-on at Kansas and later moved to Saint Louis. His mother, Lisa, formerly, was a three-ti,e All-Big Eight Conference selection while at Missouri from 1987 to 1991.

His uncle's name is Mike Sandbother, a basketball player who played at Missouri from 1986 to 1989. Moreover, his aunt, Lori Sandbothe, played college basketball for Missouri from 1988 to 1990.

Christian led his team to a third straight Class 6A state title. The athlete earned 2018-19 Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Kansas and was further named Mr. Kansas Basketball.
Braun was a two-time aa-state selection and concluded his high school career with 1,074 points. The athlete was the MVP of the 2019 state tournament.
The young athlete committed to playing basketball for Kansas over offers from Illinois, Kansas State, and Missouri. He also played AAU basketball for MOKEN Elite.

Meet Kansas Christian Braun Brothers: Parker Braun And Landon Braun
Christian Braun was raised alongside his two siblings. Donny and Lisa Braun are the proud parents of three sons, Christian Braun, Parker Braun, and Landon Braun.
All three brothers are sportspeople and played basketball relatively young. Parker himself is a well-known player who played professionally for Missouri.
His brother, Parker, played basketball at Missouri for two seasons and is now at Santa Clara. Christian and his brothers were introduced to the game at a relatively young age because their mother, Lisa, used to be a pro.
Besides playing basketball, Christian also loves playing golf and video games. The athlete is majoring in Communication.
As a freshman at Kansas, the young athlete averaged 5.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game, earning Big 12 All-Freshman Team honors.
