Is Keiichi Tsuchiya Still Alive? Death News On Twitter Explored

As per our report, Keiichi Tsuchiya is still alive since there is no official statement regarding his death from his team and family thus far.

Keiichi Tsuchiya's death news is just internet hoaxes. However, he recently lost his mentor Mr. Kunimitsu Takahashi who was known as "the father of drift."

On 16th March 2022, Japanese Racing Cars' official Facebook pages confirmed the demise of Mr. Kunimitsu Takahashi who died at age of 82. 

On the other hand, Keiichi Tsuchiya is absolutely fine at the age of 66. He rarely makes his appearance for several important races in the King of Europe Drift ProSeries.

Keiichi Tsuchiya's video from his "Gumetape Death Match Initial" is currently circulating on Twitter. The rumors of Drift King's death on social media are false.

Tsuchiya competed in several national championships including the Japanese Touring Car Championship (JTCC) and Japanese Formula Three Championship. He has been a runner-up in the 2001 All Japan GT Championship.

In addition to that, Keiichi Tsuchiya finished 8th at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans in a Honda NSX. Also, he hosted the video magazine called Best Motoring earlier in his career.

Keiichi Tsuchiya placed second in the 1999 Le Mans 24 Hours (Toyota GT-One). Nonetheless, he completed an inter-2 course in Australia in 2005.

Keiichi Tsuchiya was born to Japanese family on 30th January 1956, in Tomi, Nagano, Japan. Besides his early life information, the mainstream site hasn't covered a story on his parents and other family members.

Tsuchiya began his car racing career in 1977 through the Fuji Freshman series. He belongs to a middle-class family with no connection to the motorsport.

Considering Keiichi Tshuchiya's career summary, he must be one of the wealthiest car racing drivers from Japan. His estimated annual income might be $5million approximately which is just an assumption.

From 1981 to 1984, Keiichi Tshuchiyha raced with selected entries in the All Japan Touring Championship for three years. He placed 13th overall in 1996 All Japan GT Championship (Honda NSX).
