NYPD said in a statement, "Upon arrival,  Armor complainant stated a verbal argument with her girlfriend, during which she attacked him wounded the arm and back with a kitchen knife."

Exum was charged with assault with intent to inflict physical injury with a weapon, a class D felony, in New York Criminal Court.
