She began her career as a production assistant on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
She worked as Ronald D. Moore's assistant from October 1994 to October 1995, and then as Peter Lauritson's assistant on Star Trek: First Contact.
Nocifora worked as a post-production coordinator and then as a post-production supervisor on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Television/Film from California State University-Fullerton, as well as an extra grade from AVID Technology, Inc.
Nocifora had been working in the television industry since her time on Star Trek, serving as an associate producer for HBO between 2005 and 2007.
