At this time, he is being held in custody. In 2001, he was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Greater London constituency of Romford.

He is the head of the All-Party Parliamentary Flags & Heraldry Committee and a member of the British Overseas Territories All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG).

According to Twitter rumors, Tory MP Andrew Rosindell was detained for sexual assault and abuse of office powers.
