Cupid cast Amy Schumer uncovered that she experiences the genetic disorder trichotillomania. The illness arise from fair follicles in which the victim continually pulls out their hail from their scalp, eyebrows, and other areas of their body.

Amy Schumer has been dealing with the hair-pulling disorder since her childhood days and even mentioned it in her semi-autobiographical Huhu series "Life & Beth."

Earlier in 2020, Amy Schumer shared she has Lyme disease. She posted her childhood picture with her "first-ever fishing pole" on Instagram, where she revealed about her diagnosis to her well-wishers. 

Furthermore, Schumer also asked her followers for a suggestion to get rid of her illness. She wrote "Any advice? please comment or text me on my number in my bio."

Amy Schumer welcomed her first child by cesarean section on 5th May 2019. Later, she removed her uterus after suffering from endometriosis in September 2021.

Schumer went through the surgery to reduce symptoms associated with the condition. She uploaded a photo of her bare stomach covered in bruises on Instagram, wrote "I'm a week into IVF and feeling run down and emotional. If anyone went through it and has any advice or wouldn't mind sharing your experience with me please do."

The actress hasn't spoken about the problem related to her health as of 2022. Amy Schumer appeared absolutely fine at the 94th Academy Awards on Sunday night.
